My sister's wedding

My sister Shannon got married this past Saturday. We all had so much fun and everything went very smoothly. Aubrey was the flower girl and Cameron was the ring bearer. My niece and nephew we also flower girl and ring bearer, so it was fun to see all four of them dressed up and posing for pictures. They did great and even walked down the aisle. When Aubrey and Ashlyn reached the steps of the stage they stopped and decided they should empty their flower petals before they went on the stage. It was funny watching from the back and seeing them hurry to empty their baskets. Cameron sat with us for the ceremony, but Aubrey did a good job staying on the stage. They had fun at the reception, but as you'll see Cameron was exhausted and fell asleep after we ate.

Shannon did Aubrey's hair with curls and my sister-in-law Lisa painted her nails. Later she told me that the salon was fun! What a girly-girl! She was distraught about going to bed Saturday night because she didn't want to crush her curls.

Cameron enjoyed drinking from the toasting glasses. They had Mountain Dew for the toast, so we let out kids have some. He didn't even notice that it was diluted with water.

We are so grateful for Scottie and Shannon and the part they play in our lives. They are great with our kids and our kids love them. It's so wonderful to have Christian family and to know we can rely on them.
