Leaf Fun

I was so excited when the leaves started changing this fall. I love bright colored leaves and we are so blessed to have two mature trees in our new front yard that have beautiful colors! One is a brilliant red and the other is orange. The kids now comment on beautiful trees, and I'm sure it's because every day I would say how nice our trees looked. I love having a neighborhood with mature trees because our whole street looks nice. The sad part of fall is the end when all the leaves fall off the trees. So, we decided to have fun with it. Ryan raked and let the kids jump in the piles. Aubrey even liked to be buried in them. I must admit, I like playing in the leaves too, so it wasn't just for the kids.
Ryan climbed the tree and then Cameron wanted a turn. He thought he was pretty cool with Ryan holding him up in the tree.

Ryan buried Aubrey in the leaves and she wanted to stay there for nap time.

We set the timer on the camera and had fun taking pictures of all of us!

What silly faces!

I just LOVE the photo of Aubrey buried in the leaves! Very cute. So glad we don't have leaves to rake out here ... but at the same time it is always so much fun to play in the leaves, I do miss that. -b

haha, yeah autumn! This past week here at bluffton has been unusally warm and people were breaking out their shorts again. Me, I've been enjoying jumping on the little piles of leaves all around campus!
