Cameron turned 4 last Saturday, and we celebrated during the day with just our family and in the evening with my family. Ryan's parents are in Florida, so we'll celebrate with them later. Cameron chose ParTee Zone during the day with just our family. It was great fun, they played really well and ran for quite a few hours. He actually fell asleep for nap that afternoon, something he hasn't done in quite some time. In the evening, my family came, nothing too big, just supper (pancakes, eggs, sausage and bacon per Cameron's choosing), cake, ice cream and presents. He had lots of fun, of course. When he woke up Saturday morning, he kept asking when his birthday would be. He still doesn't understand that a birthday is a day and the party is just part of his birthday. Someday he will, but for now it's confusing. He wanted an Incredibles cake, but I'm not that good, so we printed a picture from the Internet and put it on a cake, that's my style.

Ashlyn, Trae and Cameron enjoying cake and ice cream.

We found a Hawkeye uniform and helmet, I have to say, he looks awfully cute in it!

A sword, would you believe his grandparents gave it to him?

Then this week, Cameron had his friend party. He had said for months that he wanted only boys at his party, so we invited only boys. They didn't really do much except play, but that's okay, they had a lot of fun.

Silly faces, of which Cameron is the king.

Another Incredibles cake.
Cameron is such a wonderful boy. He is all boy, that's for sure. I can't believe that he is 4. He is growing up fast. He loves legos and cars and playing rough with his dad and sisters. He makes us laugh with his made up stories and his "brothers" (see earlier post for explanation). He knows how to make people laugh and that's a wonderful part of his personality. We love you buddy!
