When you listen to the forecast, you never know how serious a snowstorm is going to be. Ryan says that they always hype it up, and that is usually the case. However, I think they got it right this time. This was the view from our garage this morning. We do not have a snowblower, just our shovels and arms. I don't know how many calories we burned, but it was a lot! Thankfully halfway through our kind neighbor lent us her snowblower. Ryan had to go to work, so once the driveway was clear, he was off. Thankfully he got their safely. The rest of us stayed inside and enjoyed a snow day, even though school was not cancelled at the Miller house.
Aubrey dug a little chair for herself in the snow
I took this to get an idea of the depth of the snow, but it's still hard to appreciate from this picture
The drifts up to our front door are still there, we will clear them out when we have more energy!
Lauren didn't venture out of the garage, which was probably good because there is no way she could have walked through the snow. She and Cameron were content to play in the wagon.
Aubrey showing how high the snow was once we scooped it off the driveway
The kids enjoying a picnic lunch downstairs. One fun way to pass the day.
