Saturday was the Hawks' spring practice game so I took the kids and went with some friends while our husbands were camping. As we were walking up to Kinnick we got to see the players coming out of the practice building and walking into Kinnick. We also got to enjoy seats in row 11, something I've never experienced before! Another new thing was the kids wanting to give Herky a high five. Usually the kids love Herky from a distance, but this time, due to some (good) peer pressure, they were ready to give him a five. Lauren was so quick that I didn't get a picture of her, but I did get one of Cameron and Aubrey, although it's a little hard to see them since they had their backs turned to me. The kids liked watching for awhile, but soon found other things to pass the time, namely other people's leftover popcorn containers. We are not above recycling!
