On Friday we had a family night. Ryan told the kids he would sleep in the living room in front of the fireplace with them. I opted out this time, I didn't think I would sleep very well on the floor being so pregnant. We rented a movie and then we ate ice cream and went to bed. It doesn't sound too exciting, but the kids loved it! The kids loved having their own individual ice cream containers and the special part was that they got to eat in the living room. Cameron didn't last too long sleeping in the living room. Soon after they went to bed, he asked if he could go sleep in his own bed, so he went down the hallway and put himself to sleep! Aubrey enjoyed the whole night of sleeping in the living room! I guess Cameron will enjoy it when he gets a little older.

Here they are enjoying their ice cream on the carpet. I don't know if I'm brave or stupid, but we don't have any new stains, so that's good.

Sounds like a fun family night! Isn't it amazing what they enjoy?! It doesn't take a lot of work, planning or $$ to have a great night making memories! Just getting to eat ice cream on the carpet would have been a treat forever burned into my kids' memories!!!
The leaves are AMAZING! Glad to have pix of them since nothing looks different here although the weather is much cooler!
