Candy and Personalities

Last Saturday we went to the Kalona Days parade and of course came home with tons of candy. The kids got to eat a bunch on Saturday, but since then we've been limiting it. However, they've still been enjoying it. How, you may ask? Well, the other night they were playing so nicely then they came to tell me that they were playing with their candy. I went into the kitchen and saw their creativity at work. Aubrey had sorted her candy into types and Cameron made a neat row on the rug. I just love to see their personalities come through in their play. Who knew candy could be enjoyed, even without eating it.
