Family Ballgame

My aunt, uncle and cousin were here this last week from Ohio. On Monday evening we went to the park for supper and some of the kids started playing a game of softball. Some of the adults decided to join in which proved to be fun and funny at the same time. There aren't many of us that claim to be athletic, but we do like to have fun. I didn't get to play for too long because Lauren was fussy (which by the way led me to believe that she was teething; this proved to be true in the next few days when her first tooth poked through). Aubrey and Cameron were too busy in the sand most of the time to play softball. When they did come over, Aubrey mostly wanted to stand there which lasted for only a few minutes. Cameron wanted to stand by someone. He was hilarious to watch. He would copy the stance of the person next to him. Once he wanted to hit the ball but I think the only reason was so he could run the bases. As soon as he hits the ball he throws the bat and starts running. It's very cute. He obviously knows what to do.

Here's the audience: Scotty (we didn't want his motorcycle injuries to worsen), Julie, Caleb (we still don't know why he wouldn't play) and Grandma
