Last Friday afternoon my grandma had a bad fall in her bathroom. She was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital and once they found bleeding on her brain, she was transferred to University Hospital. She was in the ICU over the weekend and now she is in Neurosurgery. The bleeding on her brain has stopped, praise God! Now they are waiting for the clot to liquify so they can do surgery. This can take 1 to 2 weeks. Also, she is wearing a collar because she fractured her C7 and to top it all off, she fractured her hip and needs surgery on that too. All this being said, she is doing okay, but needs a lot of prayer. She is already anxious to be healed and out of the hospital, which is still a long way down the road. Please pray for her and my grandpa as well as my mom and her brother. This is a stressful time for everyone involved with any extra time spent at the hospital. She had a CAT scan this morning and when I took the kids to visit after lunch they were waiting on the results. I know God is in control, but it's hard to see my grandma like this. She and my grandpa have always been a big part of my life. I've said it before, but what a blessing that our kids get to know so many of their great-grandparents.

Grandma's are special. I will be thinking of you guys and praying! Great to see you so much this week even though it's only for a few minutes at a time!
Oh, Natasha, we're praying here! What a special privilege. Much love
