This is how Lauren looked as we rang in the new year. Actually it was a little before the new year started. She woke up and was not consolable, so we let her join the party. Poor little orphan girl! She loved being the life of the party once she woke up all the way. This is definitely something we would not have allowed our first child to do, but what can I say, we get lenient as life goes on!
