Friday Classes

Today was the first of Friday enrichment classes for Aubrey and Cameron.  I was very excited to learn that they were offering a preschool class so Cameron could go this year too.  The kids were very excited yesterday afternoon when I reminded them that today was going to be the first day, they literally started jumping up and down.

Aubrey and Cameron are both taking a class called "Little Artists" which is great because Aubrey loves art and Cameron could use some work on his fine motor skills.  Then Aubrey is taking a Spanish class and Cameron has a "Little Learners" class.  They were happy to show me their creations from today and I asked tons of questions about the classes.  I love to know everything that went on.

For me this is a change since this is the first time I'm not teaching these Friday classes.  I have to say that I'm loving my time totally committed to my family and my home.  I miss the people, but thankfully I get to see them on Fridays and at any other events that we attend with the program.  Homeschooling can be a challenge, but I'm very thankful that God has called us to this path.  I love that we still are the main influences in our children's lives while they are young and impressionable.  The day will come when they go to school, but for now, we love the arrangement that we have!
