We have gotten our annual Christmas tree choosing down to a science. We head to Lowe's with the tie straps, head into the tree section, choose the best one, strap it on and head home! We've thought about going to a tree farm to choose a tree, but the ease of Lowe's wins out each year. Maybe some day when it's the kids' idea we can try it, but until then full service works best for us. This year I was very hands off and let the kids hang all the ornaments. It's so fun to see how they work together and try to evenly hang the ornaments around the tree.
This is a very important picture because the kids take turns putting the star on the top of the tree, so each year we look back at the previous year's picture in order to determine whose turn it is.
