Ryan's Adventure

Ryan had quite the adventure this week with his truck. The first issue was the driver's side window. It was stuck down and the fuse box was not labeled and the manuel for the truck did not give any instructions for the window. So, Ryan took the door apart and began to experiment. About 2 hours later, he got the window to stay up! Yeah! So we were taking the truck back to the Hen House. I had the kids in the van and Ryan was driving the truck. I was in front of Ryan, but after awhile I couldn't see his headlights. I finally figured out that he wasn't behind me anymore. I turned around and found his truck stuck in the ditch. He wasn't in it, so I figured he must be walking back to his parent's house where he had been working on the truck. I found him and we went back to get his dad's tractor. It was quite the adventure pulling it out of the ditch, but we did it! Now, in Ryan's defense gravel roads are very muddy and can easily pull you in. He looked down for a minute and the next thing he knew he was in the ditch. It was quite hilarious since nothing was hurt, including Ryan. He wasn't happy that I was snapping pictures for the blog, so read fast in case he deletes this post, since that was his threat! One other thing, the kids thought it was funny and asked many questions about why Daddy drove in the ditch. They are more than happy to retell the story, so if you see them feel free to ask them about it.
