Saturday we got to go to Des Moines to the Blank Park Zoo with Ryan's family. It was hot, but there was plenty of shade, so it turned out to be a great day for the zoo. The kids had a great time, of course. Cameron kept asking what was next. He couldn't wait to see the next animal, whatever it might be. I had to laugh because he said his favorite animals were the goats, something that we could possibly see anytime.

That night we went swimming at the hotel, another big hit. On Sunday we went to Bass Pro Shop, which is amazing. We all loved the taxidermy animals and the huge aquarium. What a fun weekend getaway.
