Even through the rain, Friday was a fun day at the state fair. Ryan took the day off work and we went to Des Moines. It started raining as we were walking in, but thankfully many things are in buildings and not really affected by the rain. Other than our muddy feet and damp clothes, we came away unscathed. The kids loved the Little Hands on the Farm, especially the treats at the end.

There was a huge sand sculpture of "Star Boars". Cameron didn't understand what it truly was, but he said he figured it out. The guy with the beard is Moses and the guy with the sword is an Israelite.
Someone gave us free ride tickets for the sky lift and the giant slide, so we enjoyed those as well.
